I always found the exterminator hard but I think that's because it's all runnable which was never my strong point! A fun race though due to all the route choices. Not quite sure how the course was measured to find the stated ascent figured though...

Quite a few of us have thought of this :D
Re: Edale Skyline Fell Race
If it were to be in the Lakes it would make it an almost entirely Lake District championship. I think it should be Edale re-scheduled. All the planning and hard work can be re-done and the team are determined to put on a good show.

It has to be in England and be an AL. It's not going to be in the next 3 months. So...
Duddon clashes with Yetholm
Ennerdale's too close to Yetholm and Buckden
Great Lakes was last year
Bradda is on the IOM
Buttermere is the first year
Wasdale's already in
Holme Moss clashes
Borrowdale was last year
Howtown isn't organised by a club so might not want it
Sedbergh Hills - Could be
Exterminator - Could be. But I don't think it's regarded as "felly" enough - sorry Totley :)
Three Shires - too close after Peris
IOM Mountain - it's on the IOM
Langdale - Could be
Tour of Pendle - too late to award prizes?
Pretty much the same logic I used Noel, though I didn't think it would be Sedbergh as it was the week after Turner Landscape. A double English/British I didn't consider so Peris would be a candidate in that case.

I agree entirely with this.

I was thinking that Peris would be a good one to use and particularly as it will be in many peoples schedule already this year
Re: Edale Skyline Fell Race
Competitors will have had an email in the last couple of days via the sportident system.
It contains instructions of how you can donate your partial refund to Edale MRT. If you choose to.
If not refunds will be heading back (in small batches, so we dont crash the e-commerce sytem) in the second half of April.
It's very easy to do and is the only way to do this as I can't process them individually
Re: Edale Skyline Fell Race
This years race will now be on Sunday 29th September. Entries will open on 31st July via www.sientries.co.uk
Partial refunds will be sorted by sientries (looks like this may already be being dealt with) and I will total up the donations to Edale mrt - it will be WELL over £1000
The refund will go back on to the card registered with them.
Re: Edale Skyline Fell Race
Is it a Champs race this time Ian?
Re: Edale Skyline Fell Race
Ian, I notice that you say entries open on the 31st, and the homepage says 1st of July. Am I correct that it is the latter, as that was your intention after the postponement of the original race.
Fair play to you for agreeing to the hard work of all the new organisation. Good luck.
