Good Morning!:) Lovely day here and I'm off to Borrowdale soon.:D
Not quiet around here at the moment with the fireworks :w00t:
The cat is staying close to me.
Our cats are so lazy, despite the fireworks, it is too much effort to be scaredy cats.
Typical November day today, cold, wet, windy and GREY !
Yeh, miserable. Nothing for it, time for a run, an hour of big school work, and off to the pub for lunch  (I am then working all weekend, today is my Sunday).
Mild Around Here. I've finally got my central heating fixed and it was 14 degrees C driving to work this morning
Very grey round here as well, but surprisingly mild. Looks like it should be a lot colder than it is.
Yeh very warm today. Bring on some crisp winter days :D
Tried doing the Borrowdale race route but ended up abandoning it due to the weather and the difficulty of navigating in zero visibility. Once back under the clouds enjoyed watching all the spray from the gills being blown back uphill (amazing what some people find amusing:rolleyes:). Realised my jacket is in desperate need of reproofing so drove to Keswick.
Fancied treating myself to a jacket with event fabric until I saw the price!!:w00t::mad:
Underside of the car should be nice and clean now after the drive back to the youth hostel - the roads are under water. I managed to get back... driving VERY slowly past a car that hadn't managed it. There's about 18" of water now so I'm not going anywhere soon. Jacket's busy soaking in the reproofing solution and I'm off to the pub once it's finished.:D
As I staggered into the house a bit windswept and wet from my run tonight the cat shot in past me with a mouse in its mouth. I managed to get it off him after a bit of a fight and threw it out but the cat then followed me round the house yowling. Now I am sat down and its sat close by staring menacingly at me :w00t:
Do cats bear grudges
