Trigger Information
1) The Start is 8.30am. Registration will open at 7.15 am and close at 8.15am. (DO NOT BE LATE AND EXPECT TO BE KITCHECKED, most of us are doing the race and will need to get ready ourselves)
2) Procedure at Registration:
a) Fill out a Registration slip with your name and Emergency Contact details
b) Take the slip and your kit to KIT Check
(You are signing to say you know what the kit list is, do not turn up with out everything on the list as you will be turned away)
c) Get Kit checked
d) Take the slip to REGISTRATION DESK and collect your number
3) The MINIMUM Kit List is the same as on the website
Kit to be worn or carried:
Full waterproof jacket and bottoms (with taped seams and hood),
long sleeved top,
suitable footwear,
torch (head or hand held),
emergency bag or blanket,
hat and gloves,
map (the Dark Peak map which just excludes Marsden is acceptable) compass (Sliva type) ,
whistle and some emergency food is the minimum kit.
Forecast is 1-2 degrees on the tops with 30-40mph westerly. this means sub zero temps with Windchill!!
