Well done Daz!:D
I am a true genetic pony, and i'm a girl, and i have a little boy, but.............i still have my womanly figure, off to bed now,HAPPY:)
The dogs fine now thanks and mrs C did good at the Two Crosses despite being full of a cold (thanks to me ) she came third lady in 4.36. Not bad considering it was very muddy and she did the Hebden last week. Had the usual pint after with Ozzy and friends, Oz was 2nd in 3.38 quick so and so.;)
 I want to do a race in MY vest.
Not sure why I am getting cross about it, I only have my own lazy pony ass to blame :D
Found a photo of me from Lamb's Longer Leg (courtesy of Luv Shack):

I'm the middle one of the three
rather out of focus, but that little white patch on my chest just peeking out of my rain-jacket is the Ponies' Logo!!
(honest)
Well done in the race Daz, and i can tell it's a pony vest
oops! blimey, didn't realise the pic was going to come out that big! :o
and Merrylegs - why can't you wear your vest in Tescos?
If they'd anything about them they'd wash it for you.:D
you're right about 'er indoors not being happy she was muttering about whether I wanted my demise to be quick or long and painfull.(does that mean nagging to death)
I'm glad we're on the subject of other halves. My wife (think Nadine from Twin Peaks - eye patch, fixation of curtain drapes, totally bonkers... but without the eye patch ;) ) has pretty much no interest in my running; I could die out on the fells and she'd complain that I had'nt been to the dump/ painted the kitchen/ put up shelves/ laid a patio/ washed her car before I went out!
My wife also thinks running up and down hills is stupid and she is clearly correct. She quite rightly takes no interest in it.
She takes no exercise whatsoever, has the same perfect figure she had when i met her and still looks 21.
TV & shopping is a perfectly valid way to stay in shape:D

I find it tends to take the shape out of ones wallet though.
How are the 'Christmas Bellies' going Fell Ponies??
I'm nearly back down to my fighting weight and am looking to compete again in about Feb/ March time.:D
What races have fellow Ponies got planned for the next couple of months?
Nelly

DJ, Hope to join you on the fell races, but this Ben Nevis Triathlon errrm, could I bring mountain bike and a hang glider:rolleyes: oh yes and I forgot to mention Iam scared of heights so you would have to drag me all the way up the ice climb bit:confused:
You and PT should try the Cleveland Survival, and anyone else for that matter.:D
Sorry about the cold, these computer viruses are everywhere:o .
The Cleveland Survival : A 26 mile challenge through the heart of North Yorkshire Moors It states that map reading and navigational skills required, now that has never stopped me before, last year lost about 20 places for a slight error. I thought why waste 5 minutes looking at the map when I can go in the wrong direction for 20 mins.
Its held on 29th March, details at www.csrt.co.uk
Im bloody lame!:(
Have heard horror stories about said trog, they even made a horror film about it called TROGG. Still fancy a swift half though. Hope your fetlock is untwatted soon:cool: Maybe i should have taken up rambling instead of fell running cos i'm good at that. Will ramble when i'm older, s*@t i'm old now, and i'm rambling:eek:
ML I can't do it this year, but I hope to do full trog next year, as i missed it last year (snow). This year it is not part of my plan, but next year it will be, do you get my drift, or have we totally confused DJ this time.
When I did Haworth Hobble last year we passed part of Trog course on wild open moor, and someone mentioned it was grim, another challenge then me thinks!
Master does this mean you are fetlocked for the long Mynd!
are you doing long mynd in october master ?. 3 ponies at filey flyer on sat.although 2 of us are still lame and had to trot/canter , good to feel the sun on ye maine again though after being stabled for a while. :)
