If we all bring different colour poop bags and a few dogs (emmilou I know you have an adventerous one) then we can decorate a tree with canine excrement in the spirit of christmas. It can be an on route team building task as well as, who can fold their number the smallest and who can vault the most fences to gain an advantage. :D

Is cat poop allowed cos I don't have a dog! ....and my colour will be purple....(2nd best to pink...but that's Emmi's colour!) x
And is crawling through fences acceptable cos my legs just won't vault...despite the length of them! :o

I'm having real trouble finding a place to stay! Most of the B and B's require a 2 night stay...but i can't do that. I reckon they must loose quite a bit of business!
Have tried the ones you suggested DJ...but no luck.
Anyone know any more places that take one nighters?

A hotel might, but you could risk it and wait until nearer the time. There'll still be places available but they'll be more likely to take a one night stay if they reckon it might be the only offer they get.

MG its worth trying perhaps Travel Lodge type places. They're set up for singletons and often cheap at weekends when there are no business travellers ;)
