My mistake, wrongly transcribed. It's 31st July that entries open.

I am no doubt being stupid here but I thought entries opened today, what have I missed?

Yes it is a bit slow isn't it. Interestingly on Dark Peaks site this morning it says entries open today 'technology permitting'. May mean they are having some issues.

It's OK it is not only you being stupid. Steady Fast took his laptop to bed and got up early.

That's as stupid as staying up till midnight and then getting up early :o

What's more, when I start to trundle across Brown Knoll I'll be asking myself why the hell I entered the thing in the first place!

...and so the hype starts again only this time we can discuss which factor sun cream to use and what brand of sunglasses are best for keeping the dust out of eyes. :D

If any one fancies coming along to help marshal it would be appreciated as some of the usual suspects are going to some cycle race in the dales...:confused:
