In other news I picked up the keys yesterday to my amazing new house in derbyshire
As we weren't sure whether we'd be in for Christmas, I had the tree and deccies in my boot, so that went up straight away last night, even though there is nothing else in the house yet :w00t:
Now we just need the rest of our stuff (currently in storage) to arrive on Friday and we can get ready for a great Christmas, can't wait to wake up Christmas day and go for a wander across the fields
Always clean your car after a run as then you can have a good warm down stretch as well as doing a prewash on yourself
What's the Christmas spirit like where you work? It's Crap Around Here (new thread?).
By this point in years gone by, we'd have been playing computer games or filing cabinet table tennis for the last few weeks. Now it's a few days till Christmas and they're still banging on about targets!
If I don't get to go home early on Friday, depsite my poor performance, I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe a dirty protest in the fish tank on my way out. Or by the fish tank. Not fair to take it out on the fish.
No the fat furballs are at their hotel (my dad's house). He's coming to stay on Xmas eve, so bringing the cats then when it's all set up ready for them
I think they are going to love our nice big garden - at least they will in SUmmer, they probably won't notice it's there til the weather warms up a bit around April
I managed to get into Morrissons early this morning for the last minute fresh items I need for Christmas/Boxing Day Dinners. It was warming up nicely for the big crush in a couple of hours time. This particular branch is a bit of a small store so tends to get a bit of a competition between the staff restocking and the customers stripping the shelves. Something has to give and this morning it was 3 jars of cranberry sauce spread liberally on the floor and customers skating all over it :w00t:

So is there a spaceship hidden in there and Yorkshire is about to be invaded :w00t:
It is quiet but it is lovely. Father Ted on telly, wine in belly, kids in pub, Mrs asleep. Tomorrow will be lovely!
