UUUURRRRGH!!!!!!!! Brings back bad memories of when my dad went to Iceland for 5 months, and I went to check on the house after he'd been gone around about a month... He'd chucked some fish in the bin the night before he left and not emptied it. If that weren't bad enough, the fridge had grown a layer of mould all over it's insides by the day before he got back. Half wished I hadn't gone round with some supplies to get him going again, as once I'd looked in the fridge I then had to clean it. :thunbdown:

Ouch! That must have been a nice unexpected job! :/

The sealed sandwich container did a pretty good job, it was fairly swelled though!

I left a flask on a shelf, over a radiator once. kept looking at it thinking 'I really must clean that out!'. One day there was an almighty BANG!! When I went out in the hall, where said shelf/flask was, there was a very putrid smell, 'stuff' all over the place and a big dent in the ceiling where the stopper had struck!! :o

Wow thats some serious fermentation going on!

I've definitely learnt my lesson now, removed the milk before coming home last night :)
