Quiet Around Here

Bit too close to the truth guys.
Missus and I have lived in 4 houses (first 2 were tied cottages) since we met - and I've had a chimney fire in all 4 now :o.

Previous 3 fires we had the fire brigade out, so I decided I had learnt enough from them to do it myself this time :thumbup:.

I put the brushes up this chimney a few weeks ago, as a precaution and see what it was like, found it wasn't lined then (but clean). Hoping to get through the summer before lining it (££££'s), but obviously there was a lot of old soot lying on top of the register plate, which caught. Priority job now.

Just watching Springwatch with the cat. The sea eagle catching fish and the sparrowhawk catching small birds really impressed him :D

Just been applying copious amounts of aftersun to my face after getting caught out in the hills today!

Reading back over the last few random pages, it strikes me that QAH is actually the Forums very own version of Twitter........and pre-dates it by many years!
