Great race, first time I have done this race and really enjoyed it. Thankyou to the team who put the race on. Will be back next year. Found it hard work but pleased with run
A few snaps from the top of Black Hill,

thanks to the kindly soul who shouted me four safety pins! i found it pretty gruelling today, only my sixth fell race proper so i'm not going to get disheartened. cracking event.
One of my club-mates ran it, & by the sound of it (after a chat with him earlier this afternoon) enjoyed it!
Not sure he looks too happy here though!?!

Sadly some of us were at work by 06:50 this morning:angry:
What worries me is why this man is not smiling. He looks in the sort of pain i'm usually in:rolleyes:
Because I believe he was chasing a clubmate very hard and it was very warm, (he doesn't do warm ;) )
Ps I beat the club mate. 14th for me.
Well done Des and team a really cracking fast race in surprisingly dry conditions. Although a few found a deep bog. looking forward to seeing the Newbury runners tonight at the Trunce and at Burbage on Tuesday(probably the best mid week peak race of the year)get there early.
