Ouch, Stef, these things are sent to try us! Good luck. Not sure I would have your strength, I have(had?) a theory that "free" food was calorie free, since it's not our fault we are eating it, but someone else's. May have to revise that though :closed:

I haven't weighed myself today, not wanting to get hung up over 1/2 a lb here and there, however I too survived, no alcohol, not too many treats. Possibly too much dinner though. And didn't run yesterday.

I braved the scales this morning; it seems that the early morning headtorcher with my youngest was sufficient to counteract a weekend of Mum's amazing as always cooking and a few chocolates. No lard gained, phew!
OHW you've been working on a misapprehension. I reckon free food is double calories as you didn't expend any getting it! This could be the root of your lard troubles

You know the old expression OHW: there's no such thing as a free lunch? Wells it's true in lard, as in life :closed:

Runner's World (website and mag) have just put out feature "49 Greatest Weight Loss Tips" - some of them sound useful - I particularly like the recommendation to drink a glass of red wine a day http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/...out_smiley.gif
