That sounds like it could have been - I was enjoying the drink more than reading the badge on the pump but Acorn & Barnsley in any order made a fantasically tasting ale. Had one from a Darwen brewery after it had run out and it was not a patch!Quote:

Was in the Sun Inn at Coniston on Thursday after quick jaunt up Old Man. Had a pint of "Tag Lag. Not sure of brewery but I can honestly say it was the tastiest beer i can remember having. Felt obliged to have to have 2!!

Well I don't know if you guys would class this as a "real ale" or not....but seing how i picked up my free bottle of TT LANDLORD at the end of the Bronte Way today, that's what i've just drunk. Blooming good pint and very local, brewery is next door to daughters primary school!!

Took Mrs Jarse to Copper Dragon brewery bistro for lunch yesterday. Didn't have any ale cos I was doing hill reps up Goose eye Brow at tea time.Bought a bottle each of the full range.Yummy. Highly recommended
