Well, I managed another 30mins on rollers today.
This is in my quest to train 30 mins everyday in December.
After 9 day I am currently running at 3 rollers, 2 turbo, 2 runs, 1 race and 1 gym.

22 miles on the mountain bike today, plus the biking commute of 20 miles...Nice to be spinning the legs. Up coming knee op - will be nice to get running again on't tops :-)
Now the guilt begins - after a tv day and some studying (well only a bit) eaten loads, broken into Xmas tin of Celebrations early , on the second bottle of wine and all the while today I kept glancing out of the windows and being a wuss thinking "i'll go in the next 20 mins " ;-( when the forcast was at its best today. So my penance is to go tomorrow when the forecast is evil and serves me right. Thoughts ?
An easy 7 miles today in fine weather with clear views as far south as Edinburgh and the Pentlands under cloud, enviously looking across the highlands looking fine in there winter coat. Braemar next weekend is looking very good indeed! Legs where slow after a week of easy walking.
4 easy miles in the NW rain. Feet are still playing up two weeks after Rosedale. Time for a trip to the physio.
Quick blast around a route i call 'Tour of Troller's Gill' today, 2.5m 750'; toes bouncing off the ends of my 272s on the descents again. The gorge was full of flood waters which made it interesting to run up! Saw Ted Mason near Storiths riding a bike, not picked up an injury i hope.
Hill reps on Sunday, good workout steady 5k today
2 hour jaunt around Pendle this morning, very wet and windy! :)

Snow running deffo my fave type of running by a mile!
Roll back a couple of days to Tuesday, headtorcher about 8 miles 1000' climb blowing a gale, sprinkling of snow on the tops, cross wind for much of the route really tricky on the exposed Cleveland Way.
Last nights head torch run over Howden edge, 2 short eared owls ghosted through our head torch beams- 6.6miles and 1400ft
Today- over a very snowy and cold Bleaklow 10 miles and 1300ft
3 back to back runs to work this week plus a couple of headtorcher's wit dog, 40 miles since tuesday.

90 mins around baildon moor with a chum from work. His first proper off road excursion and he seemed to like it. Very icy in places especially over the big rocks.

Had a gorgeous snowy 10miler round Malham on Friday, a slippy slidy muddy 6m river run yesterday and a crisp frosty 6m to Hackfall and back this morning. I do like this time of year.:D
Good couple of runs this weekend, 32km out to An Sgarsoch on Saturday and a quick blast up Glen Ey to Carn nan Seileach this morning in glorious sunshine.
Club trip out this weekend, so most of the training was increasing eating and drinking capacity

bugger all...
Did not get to the Stoop, so did 8 hill reps good workout
17.5km and a decent amount of climb today. Ran from home along Rivelin valley, below Rivelin rocks and then crossed the A57 and climbed up to by the headstone. Came back via the Sportsman (sadly no time for a beer) and lots of interesting footpaths through the woods. Just over 90 minutes running.
Anything in the open was a bit scary today, sheet ice underfoot and freezing sleet making it even slidier..... Still surprisingly fun though!
20 consecutive days for me now of training of some form or other.
First 10 days were 30 minutes or more.
Second 10 days were 35 minutes or more.
Break down is:-
2 Races (Gravy 5 and Stoop)
6 training runs
6 sessions on Rollers
4 sessions on Turbo
2 sessions in Gym
A little and often and I am feeling great. Never mind this long stuff, thats for the wife to do.
Now started planning next years little events and I'm as happy as a pig in $hit.
Good to hear you're back on top Stagger, keep it up mate.
5.5 miles 900' round local paths and tracks but with plenty of little hills thrown in.
Cracking run up Simons Seat with my brother-in-law today. About 9.5 miles of clag filled bogginess. First proper fell run since my "gentlemans op". Slightly achey when descending at speed !
