Just a shortish walk today - 7 miles over Flasby Fell taking in both Sharp Haw & Rough Haw summits. Saw one runner descending towards Stirton.
Just done good 1hour 40mins with Bone and some others. I think me feet have turned webbed! Very very very wet. Going to be some flooding today.
did about an hour off road, the track up to hartshead pike wasn't a track today it was a river, with my crappy salomons on had no chance, fell right in,good wet and muddy fun
13.72 miles. 9 off road boggy, windy, rainy, up to me knees at one point. Fell over and jumped up, as you do, to see if anyone saw me. Not another soul in sight for miles:D 4 and a bit miles home on road cos i couldn't find any more off road without making it a 20 miler. Garmin sez i did it in 1:59:37. I think its lying coz i felt bloody awful in places coz i had too much beer last night:eek:
13 miles on the bike, hoping I haven't lost all fitness I might have gained last year. Tried to remember to keep pedalling downhill as there's not much benefit in freewheeling. Maybe I should buy a fixie. maybe not...
A steady plod with a mate today,6.85 miles
Just over an hour 80% off road from home, feet wet within 30 seconds of leaving road - wettest underfoot I've ever known the majority of that route or variations of it and Pudsey Beck the highest I've ever seen it.
All good wet and muddy fun:)
Hour circuit training Fri, 12mile walk yesterday up Beamsley Beacon over to Ilkley and back over Addingham Moorside. Briskish (for me) hour run this afternoon. Cleared hangover from last night's work's do a treat!
15 mile on and around the Longdendale trail, soaked when running for the 8th day on the run !
