Good to hear that you're back out on the hills.... hopefully both bug-free as well!

Yes, a great morning out for a supposedly 2/3hr walk!! Sorry;). Didn't dare run too much as the missus would have killed us both if i'd have had you running aswell and then injured yourself:eek: It was really nice to be out about with you both. It's been far too long.
Just wondering if you are going for it this weekend Rob?
If you are I don't think my legs will be up to it after Scotland (unless you are desperate for support). I feel a bit beat up at the moment. Especially when considering how tough I found the support last time.
Alan.
Alan - nope not this weekend. Sorry, thought I emailed you.
Sounds like you had a good Fling :D
O.K Rob good luck with your original date. Hope the weather gods are kind to you, if they aren't I will definitely help on your fall back date. Best of British with it.
The Highland Fling was a bit of a disappointment, I set off a bit quick and tried desperately to hang on. Pretty pleased with the placing though. Sub 9 hours next year.
Thanks Alan. Nice avatar !
Not heard different, so I'm assuming Rob is going for it starting midnightish tonight...
Good Luck Rob! http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/...ile_smiley.gif
Rob hasn't missed much, a fairly grotty day up here. Cold, some drizzle (not heavy) and strong wind - would not be pleasant to run into.
