3. How many food stops (if there are indeed food stops) are there?
4. I don't have an OS map - do I need to get one (or print off a few bing maps)?
5. Get there for 7 ish for an 8 start yeah?
I have a couple of O/S Maps (OL21 map covers my local area) if you want to borrow one Stolly. Should be there around 7.20am saturday.
Dan
ps good luck after the HPM my mate was lagging a bit on the Bat Run last night after his efforts in finishing 10th placed team.

Thanks Dan, that'll be great. I should be relatively easy to recognise as I will be toting a tri-coloured border collie :)

Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
Hi stolly, plenty of info on the official hobble website, most of it obtained via the entry form thread. Looks like 4 food stations during the course, yum yum.

I will probably be sporting an old tod top (White with diagonal blue/red stripe) probably over a black thermal so shouldnt be too hard to spot either.

I think we'll manage to spot you Daz! But if it's really fancy dress this year I suppose I'd better dig out one of my Kendal Mint Cake shirts.

There should be at least three of us in Harrogate vests tomorrow, however I suspect they'll be hidden under jackets for most of the day. It's a bit damp in Yorkshire right now, can't see it improving much!

Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
The forecast is so bad I was very tempted to get a late entry and join you all. But I don't think my ankle could cope with that distance at the moment, so we're off to recce part of the Swaledale marathon route instead :-)

I've had a few Sundays after the Hobble when I've felt like I've done twelve rounds the day before (and one when we probably did; in the Front Room) :w00t:

Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
Just packed. It was like planning an arctic expedition. How many pairs of gloves? 2 or 3?

There's some veggie hot dogs at one checkpoint and if you're slow enough I've got a rucksac full of egg sarnies and malt loaf! Veggies do rule the world we just do it quietly!
Brett - you know I'm right!
Bit worried now ... haven't eaten ... having curry ... good job we'll be at the back ;-)
See you in the morning folks bright and early

Re: Haworth Hobble/Wuthering H
Will Mr Brightside be positioned at Mankinholes as usual with his bottle of single malt?
Went down a treat last year, and I'd like to be able to rely on it in my Race Feeding Plan...

Hey, then you can buy a full bottle of blended stuff at the Co-op in Hebden Bridge. The miles will simply drift by!
