3.38 for me.........nice pair of Salomon XR Crossmax to come for winning V50 team.....not doing it next year though, think I might do Anv waltz for a change.Well done Longdogs for a great run ,came past me after Hill Inn and I couldn't do owt about it.
Bugger just checked only 4 mins faster than last year, looks like i will have to do it again.
Looks like I will have to keep you tantalisingly in range behind me then to drag you round next year. Funnily enough, whilst I got you by 4 mins, I kept in my head all the way down from Ingleborough that your superior descending could be getting you very close. Therefore Anti-Social, you helped me knock off a few minutes as well as I never look back to check whether there was K & C vest there. If it had been PYG or Whernside, you would have got me but lucky that Ingleborough has just enough flattish sections to accommodate my flat road running expertise !!! Anything with bumps and stones in does not agree with me that much.
Well done anyway, as you have to be happy with PB and so much wind. I did a PB by 31 mins !!!
On the sportident results in the position category as well as the no in the race there is a number in brackets like (762) anyone know what this is?
Well that all ended in tears for me at Ribblehead where I retired!
I'm so upset but I knew deep down it was a disaster waiting to happen. I've had a migrainy/tummy type bug the past few days and was hoping part of it was nerves and would disappear once I got going. But I really suffered today with banging headache and tummy pains/nausea and my body just did not want to go so I was forced to jack it in. :'-((
My running's been going really well lately and I should have been feeling strong, I'm so upset this had to happen on the day that I've spent all this time training for! C'est la vie eh!
I was quite devastated at having to get the 'bus of shame' back to Horton!
Big thankyou to the lovely marshalls especially those that made sure we got back ok x
Gutted!
I'm now sat in my lovely new three peaks t-shirt...it's a smasher! I feel I should wear it cropped though seeing as I only did half the race! ;)
Oh well 11.3 miles/2800ft ascent is all good training for Fairfield next month and there's always next year to beat this one!
Very well done to everyone who finished today and also to those who gave it a go xxx
