:D wish i had wisdom etc etc - more like complete stubborness and pig headedness. To be fair my old man was never soft on me, taught me that you can have whatever you want in life but you have to go and get it for yourself. :rolleyes:

Mind you I earn twice as much now as when I bought my house when I was 21 and still I am bloody skint all the time! :D

Never borrow off my parents (always save), but the way housing is now, if I want a chance of getting enough for a mortgage on a decent property, then I'll have to stay at home and save for a while yet - as rent is astronomical too!!
