Well, that was a tough one! Very glad I took the car rather than rode to the he start as my legs are shot!
Just got under 4 hours, so a few minutes slower than last time I ran it, but I'm ecstatic with that given today's conditions.
Massive thanks to the marshalls and organization, must have been even tougher than running in that rank weather!

Arrived at Mam Nick with a couple of minutes before cut off but decided discretion was the better part of valour and chickened out and to be honest not too bothered. The weather took a turn for the worse after I'd jacked it. Great thanks to super organisation and all the marshalls/helpers and a particularly big thanks to the unknown lady with a small child who gave lift to one very muddy runner back to the finish!
Thanks to the marshals and organisers for a cracking run out..
I'm happy to have survived that.
Up to my waist in a peat bog about 18 miles in. A big thank you to the two runners who managed to yank me out of it, make yourselves known! That could have gone the other way if no one had spotted me
Well done to all who took part today, pretty bleak to say the least.
It goes with out saying but Mountain Rescue are amazing.
Yeah what happened with mountain rescue? I swear I saw someone in stretcher?
Cheers to the organisers and marshals, great race today. Thing were getting pretty blowy up on Grindslow Knowl and Ringing Rodger when I went through there ... hats off to all the guys up on the hill.
