I just had the lurgy and was off running for 9 days :-(
I've been back running the last 3 days and my legs really ache - is that the lurgy or the 9 days off?

I still feel rotten
Seem to be eating loads more than usual too, feeling grot seems to make me want to eat rubbish
I'm joining the fun. Off to bed and hopefully miraculous recovery for Sunday.
not 100% but feeling much better:D
Been taking 3 Ester C tablets a day and 3 daily doses of Echinacea, loads of fruit (smoothies etc) and big veg caserole/mush type things. Seems to have done the trick - thankfully it didn't get any worse as soon as started on the remedies - hot toddies of a night probably helped too:D
This is like the Pendle Plague
I hope you haven't all been eating that stuff that Bernard Matthews churns out - the revenge of the turkey twizzlers. Be careful out there if you're racing this weekend, you crazy people.
Ciao.
No, I haven't. We had one at Christmas, but it was a quality specimen, not some dodgy East European import. I assume the penguin population hasn't been afflicted yet.
Ciao.
I have come down with the lurgy over night (streaming nose, sore throat, cough and aching joints), which is a shame as we're of to Herefordshire in about an hours time and I was looking forward to running up and down some different hills...I don't even feel like running a bath at the moment.
Cheers - Raymond
