Thanks for the results links. Re: the finish - yes, it did seem a bit haphazard.

At least they weren't handing out people's times at the end like previous years - that always caused a bit of confusion!
Some pictures up at http://www.fellrunningpictures.co.uk/moelfamau2011.html.
Regarding the race numbers, at first I thought it was great that they were laminated with punched holes and pins already attached. I sometimes find attaching the race number is harder than running the race. However, my only concern - that it would be cumbersome when running - was confirmed as we got near the top. My poorly-fitting club vest was being tugged around like a sail flapping in the wind! It's a pity I couldn't harness the power of the wind to make me go faster...
Treat the Cilcain results with caution.
I was number 108, placed 64 in 42.47 (close to my own timing). I was very pleased with that until I saw that number 138 (an Eryri runner, Ellie Salisbury) was placed 104, at 46.22. Given that she was making a fuss to the marshalls about finishing just ahead of me (true or not, I don't know), there was no way she was 4 minutes behind me.
Neither was Buckley's John Morris behind me, despite being listed 78, in 43.28, or Nicola Berry - who passed me near the finish (with her shoelace undone, which I mentioned to her) yet is placed 99 at 46.10.
So I now have no idea where I finished - and lots of other people are presumably in the same boat.
This is a great run, but the organisation at the finish clearly needs some attention.
Boooo. What a shambles. It's hardly rocket science!
Wasn't able to do this race this year but have done it over the previous 3 -4 years. Its a great little race but for some reason the way the results are collected at the end always seem to be a total mess and lots of people either get the wrong time or placed in the wrong position. From comments seen looks like the same as happened again this year. I was missed off the results totally last year and got a DNF even though I finished in about 30th place looking at the photos.
Same happened to me last year. Shame as it's such a great race!
