I was following this on my night shift and he was 8th at 04:00 this morning. Unfortunately I think you are correct. It looks like he has retired.:(

Alan, looks like you are right, no sign of Mark after Ouray.
No doubt he will surface on his blog in due course to report.
Shame.
Brief blog entry now from Mark http://markhartell.blogspot.com/ Sad news Mark, "end of an era"(?).
Good to see Jennifer Roach finished.
First lady Diana Finkel, as already mentioned, finished third overall, a very long way ahead of 2nd lady. Amazing. And overall winner's time was 24:38?
Yes, an anti-clockwise record.
Last year Kyle Skaggs broke the course record with an amazing 23 hours 23 minutes.
I've been in email contact with Mark who seems utterly relaxed about his decision to do no more 100s.
He has lots of outdoor projects on the go and I'm sure the blog will keep us up to date.
He is hoping to make the BG Club Dinner on 10 October to do his bit as President. :D
Hal Koerner has just won this in 24.50.13:thumbup:
Joe Grant finished about 20 secs later didin't he? After 100 miles that's almost a photo finish.
25.06.30 for Joe Grant, that's a bit more than 20 secs.
