Wansfell Fell Race - Thursday 27th December 2007

This traditional festive blast is happening this year. Same arrangements as usual; register and park at the OldGrammar School at the top of Stock Ghyll Lane, Ambleside (GR 384044). Race starts at 12 noon at the bottom of Stock Ghyll Lane, in town.

Prizegiving, drinks and mince pies will be available for runners down at the Lakes Runner shop in Ambleside after the race.

Well done Ambleside. I'm glad you've got an organiser. I think that'll be my next race.

Brilliant news. It's one of my favourites. That's a lot of mince pies if it's as popular as last year.

Mapper, surely you can arrange a client visit out of the office on this day. One which will be close to Wansfell.

mmmmm!! I did Blisco a couple of years ago, camped over after a few beers, then went to Kendal office the following day. That's the time when Alsoran forgot his sleeping bag ~ if you've not heard that story just ask him, I'm sure he'd love to tell it again :)
