Does anyone have the results to the Shelf moor race when it was a champs race(not the last time, but the time before?)

Mark Kinch was some runner. I knew Mark from working with him in the last few years and went on occassional lunctime easy runs - for him!!. He runs for Stoke AC cross country last I heard and his son is shaping up to be a pretty good runner too.

I didn't know it was a champs race in 94, so there must have been some fast times that year too. Yes, Mark Kinch was a great runner, so I'm not surprised he ran that quickly. Would that be the 2nd quickest on the course does anyone know? Just goes to show how good Colin's record is, being another 3/4 of a minute faster!
If you have the full results for that year, then I'd appreciate a scanned copy so I can stick it on the race website. It's missing 2002, 2001, 1995, 1994 and anything before 1990.Quote:

I know the 2001 result, as I was lucky enough to be involved in what is perhaps the closest finish to the race(anyone know otherwise?)After enjoying a good lead at the summit of around 300m, I thought I may be safe for a victory, but with the late, great John Taylor in 2nd spot it was never going to be easy!! Hopefully, somebody may have those missing results anyway!

Judging by the stream of post I have had over the last few weeks, people have noticed that the entry form for this year's Shelf Moor race is available on the Glossopdale Harriers website.
I have now started to actually process the entries and as of this evening I have 42 entries for the Mens race and 21 for the Ladies race. I will post a list of names in a few days time.
