That's it... just a bit of a variation on a classic view. The light probably added to the difficulty, as it was taken early morning.

Not too tricky, I think.
Ny318350?
Here's one from earlier this week Attachment 8842
I did recall you saying you'd been out finishing off the Northern Fells... but I thought it was fairly clear that was Skiddaw and Bassenthwaite Lake, so was just a case of working out the map... I originally thought you were on Lords Seat until I thought about it properly!

Another easier one.
I'm finding this one more tricky than i feel i should!
Pretty sure i can figure out the vague area, due to the layout of the two lakes, but tricky trying to pinpoint it on the map.
After much pondering, i think it is on the lower slopes of Whiteless Pike, just above the col across to Rannerdale Knotts..... 179177....?
Another one that is possibly at the easier end of the scale...

Mynydd Mawr summit with Yr Eifl in the distance.
Must be Moel Eilio then.
Sorry I cannot give map ref...not at home.
I could not remember if summit had rocks or cairn...usually too knackered when I ran past it on the wonderful Moel Eilio race.!
We were discussing the inter-counties on another thread... 2020 was supposed to be a race route called Llanberis Ridge (and i presume that if it goes ahead they might look to keep the same venue in 2021).... I wondered whether that was just going to be a minor variation on the Moel Eilio race route, which would be a good inter-counties course, and i'm sure has been used in some high-profile races before...
I ran the Moel Eilio ridge race twice. I was 5th on the first occasion, but I was 63rd on the second occasion. Yes, it was a British Championship race that second time.
My first Moel Eilio race was actually my first fell race in North Wales. With a result like that, no wonder I decided that North Wales was a good area for racing!
Easy: Attachment 8848
That'll do me.
Not sure how this one will come out with a small file size...

I've still not much idea of where it is, except that it's a rather nice example of a glaciated valley. Absence of signs of human activity suggests Scottish Highlands, but last time I said that I was wrong; and there aren't endless ranges of mountains to the horizon, as one tends to see in the Highlands.
Edit: just thought of the Mourne Mountains, but the arrangement of mountains around the lake doesn't fit with either Ben Crom or Silent Valley reservoirs. Somewhere else in Ireland?
I think it's the Cairngorms, looking down on Loch Avon. The large stream coming down from the right is coming off Carn Etchachan, and my estimate of grid ref is 994 015.....?
As i say, i've never been there, but it shouted out Cairngorms to me when i first saw it.
One from me then. In my opinion it's a good one!

Hmm...thats a good one. Got me really scratching my head! Convinced its snowdonia but cant quite make it all add up. Moelwyns maybe from an unfamiliar angle?
Ah Ok. Call up the lakes experts!
I was wondering if the skyline was the ridge from Scafell to Slight Side, but I can't fit the foreground hills to what's on the map.
Hen comb sort of way?
