Good race today, throughly enjoyed it. The voodoo dolls worked well on Disco Stan and Ady, but Pendle Plodder gave me several worried moments. More pins called for, I think.
I'll tell thee wot tha problem is...tha's spendin too much time on this bluddy forum!;)
TIP... early to bed...early to rise (get owt o'bed in this context!)...and wen tha gets th'urge to plonk 'bout on this site then dust off yer fell shoes, or yer push bike, n get theesen out forra session in th'ills...
...then when tha's used up a few o'them extra punds tha can go down t'chippy n justify a plateful o'greasy F'n'C !
or tha can accept tha's gettin owder and joining the slowin-down brigade (Stick nus 'bout that!).:D
Stick;
1) 'ad I dunt'same number o'races as thee I'd 'ave finished 55 positions 'igher than thee!
2) I wer more keen on gettin back 'ome forra trough o'soup and watchin t'GrandNational than suppin wi' thee!:p plus...MrsMartin weren't goin t'pub (well that's th'impression she gi'me? ) so mi promised pint 'll 'ave t'wait til anutha race day!:D
Got t'mention Victoria Wilkinson's incredible run...vic was in 5th place 'alfway up t'BigEnd and finished in either 4th or 5th (I 'aven't seen th'official results)...must be t'run o'century so far? Did Victoria beat carol Greenwood's 1993 record of 34.25?
also...
anutha fantastic run by Joe Mercer o'Skipton to push Andy Peace t'limit.
Well done Victoria n Joe.
Ps
I've getten thee all on candid camcorder with a dodgy commentary as you toiled up t'BigEnd!;)
Are you going to share those piccies with us Wharfeego?
There must be 20 mins o'footage o'climb on mi camcorder?
'ow do I share that?
I'll sell thee a DVD entitled "BigEnders!":D
I need to do some editing ('aven't learnt 'ow to do that yet?) as there's some rather dodgy commentary in the film!
I'm off t'watch Tour o'Flanders on t'satellite now...wish I wer there ridin in t'bunch...dream on!
Not sure what the missus will think if a DVD 'Big Enders' lands on the door mat  You could upload it to youtube, but don't ask me how!
