Merry, you should be ashamed of yourself! That film is a shocking waste of the talents of Ed Harris.
Double header - 'Once upon a time in the West' followed by 'Apollo 13' and accompanied by some booze I got at Turnslack on Saturday and a Lamb Rogan Josh.
Top quality ALF!
Nah, its a good movie in a dumb-ass kinda way! Shad to shee connery becoming shuch a parody of himshelf though!:D
Off to watch a borrowed dvd called Superbad, supposed to be funny, av a good weekend y'all:)
Bought The Taking of Pelham 123 yesterday. £4 on DVD from Tesco.

I resisted this film like the plague when it first came out. Everything about it seemed just awful. I mean a combination of Abba songs  and Meryl Streep and Piers Brosnan singing . Oh and Colin Firth both singing and being gay!
But can I just own up now to having now watched it at least half a dozen times in the last couple of months - and its completely brilliant.
Best song ----> Lay all your love on me
Watched 'After The Fox' tonight and loved it.

Just watched "The End of the Affair" (1999) it made 'The English Patient' seem like a comedy :D
Ice Cold in Alex currently on Dave, or starting again at 11 on Dave+1:)
Distriict 13 last night on film 4 - a brilliantly stylish french film with inner city parkour, superbly choreographed fight scenes and stunts.
District 13 trailer
Just seen an ad for a film called Zombieland starring Woody Harrelson and the lad from Juno. Looks good.
The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke tonight, supposed to be a good filum:cool:
Moving, sad and very true to life film, enjoyed it more than High School Musical 2 which was watched earlier...............again:rolleyes::D
Just put myself through 'Demolition Man', the only upshot being Sandra Bullock in leggings. Seemed preferable to 'The X-Files' movie, can't be arsed going to bed thinking of dessicated aliens buried in a desert or whatever.
In my ill, wrapped up state on the sofa, I'm watching Miami Vice off V+ from ages ago.
Y tu mama tambien
It's a mexican film which translates into "and your mother too". I'm only half way through it. It's intriguing so far. I'll give you a better review after we watch the second half tonight.
And there was me thinking you were insulting me!
watched paranormal activity and thought it was very scary !
Was a cracking flick. Typical Rodriguez fare: beatifully shot, and gloriously violent.
Finished The Break Up. Better than I thought with a surprising ending. Oh, and it does have Jennifer Aniston in!:o
Now on Magnum Force.
Got Munich, Kagemusha and The Pianist to go. Just what the Doctor ordered!:)
Magnum Force finished. Classic 70s cop action.
Munich now. I love those old 70s stylised images of athletics events.
SS - Good Luck with Kagemusha - you'll need cheering up afterwards - I prescribe Airplane!, Top Secret!, Princess Bride or Man With Two Brains
A certain forumite loaned me Debbie does Dallas once
:eek::eek::eek:
