I went to Grassington to do some xmas shopping, via Greenhow Hill of course, and it was a white out. I use snow tyres so it has to be deeper than 6" to stop me on hills but it was a fantastic drive and a great opportunity to practice car control, it's not about avoiding situations and conditions but learning to deal with them.Quote:

Yep huge flakes and over an inch already here in Halifax. Glad I managed to sneak a crafty blast out yesterday.
We've got a good covering here in Stainland it's like a winter wonderland, was going to do Ovenden this morning but we'll have to see if things improve.
