Well done emmilou on a super set of pics. I got my photo taken with Joss twice at Wasdale last year - first at Greendale Bridge:), then at the finish. :eek: They are somewhere in the DPFR archive now. Managed to take a few at Duddon, but lost the will to do anything after Dow.:(. I'll be struggling round Wasdale again with camera - so please remember to say cheese:D

haven't read the info but e card to orienteers is the Si unit/ dibber that you use to prove you have visited a control. Used by some Champs races and MMs. Most fell runners won't own one so you hire on day or get one in with the entry fee

They have definately used SI dibbers the last 2 times i've done Duddon....Brilliant race. Its worth camping over as well and heading to the Newfield Inn after.
I've used SI dibbers before - never heard em called e-cards though
not sure if I'll be family camping at Turner Hall, or "smash-n-grab"ing it on the day, but I'll deffo be there...
