Heptonstall festival

Weekend weather warning; unusual weather event
Forecasters are predicting a rare metrological phenomena likely to impact the West Yorkshire and Heptonstall area from this evening; it is likely that this weather may continue to disrupt usual rain and wind patterns over the next few days. The conditions known as "summer" will involve less than usual cloud, blue sky may replace cloud cover, and it may even be possible to see the sun. The public have been advised to remain calm as this period of "summer" is unlikely to persist.

See you on the cobbles! Registartion opens 9am (£4) - race starts at 11.00am - followed by the Germanic Fest in the sqaure Frankfurters, Sauerkraut, etc (£3.50 per head)


Allow extra time for you journey!!
Please avoid entering village from Heptonstall Road, Lee Wood Road - please follow diversions from Hebden Bridge - head up past HB church, Mytholm Steeps, Blackshawhead, Colden to arrive at north end of village where you will be shown a parking space - thanks!
