What sort of time Jez?
I'll be setting off from Saltaire, where I work, about 12.30-1.00 & heading up to the Glen. Then getting up onto Bingley Moor via Dick Hudsons. I plan on picking up the Rombalds route just shy of the 12 Apostles & following it right up until The Cow & Calf where I may head off back to Baildon, where I live ! Should be around 16-18 miles by my reckoning. You're more than welcome to join me Rob ! (or anyone else !).
It sounds like a good route, I very much doubt I'd be able to get the time off work though unfortunately. I may be up there tomorrow aft though depending on how my legs feel (34m done over the past 4 days, so don't want to push it).
Enjoy
Crikey Rob, that's good mileage ! I hope you're tapering next week !! Well, If anybody wants to join me, just give me a shout. I can run to Trig Point (on Baildon Moor), from work, by 1.30. Then I hope to do the next 10ish miles of the Rombalds before sloping off back to Baildon.
Definitely on the taper now, one last run today or saturday (but not too long) and then taking it easy till next saturday.
Bugger. Had a nasty crash last week skiing and now have whiplash. Don't know if I'll be making the start line now and even if I do it'll be a long slow (painful?) jog round
Sorry to hear that Flopsy. Get yourself doped up & rested up this week, you never know.
Plans changed slightly so ended up doing a final recce of the route from Weecher reservoir to Otley Chevin top, was intending to run home after to make it around 19 miles but had to cut short as I ran in PB's today to see how they'd feel and they gave me a sore heel
Think on the day I'll be using Wave Harriers instead, last weeks run in them came off fine with no soreness in my feet at all.
All set for the day now. Jez, I'll keep my eye out for you. I'll probably have my trademark red saucony cap on and a featherlite jacket. If you see me come and say hi.
