I must be getting soft in my old age but the forecast from the Met Office site doesn't look too appealing ;)

Sunday 26th January
A cold, frosty night with icy patches forming. Cloud increasing later in the night with heavy rain preceded by snow arriving by day break. Rain then persisting through the morning before clearing east into the afternoon with bright spells and showers following. Showers turning increasingly to sleet and snow during the evening.
Just looks like rain? The hills aren't that high around Burbage I would think the snows going to be over on Kinder?

Fantastic race today! Conditions were a little wet and sloppy but that didnt stop a few hundred of of making our way round the race! Wellorganised, great marshalld and brilliant venue. Cracking day thank you all :)

A great race, really challenging in the conditions. Heroic work by scores of cheerful and encouraging marshals, out there in the horizontal rain. Huge thanks to all concerned.
