Yep, bit early for that. 14 months maybe!
Risking a lynching but.....Interesting one... real unpasturised Czech style lager brewed in Taddington near Buxton... worth a try to see what lager should be like.

I would give it a go. Lagers which are brewed properly can often be palatable
Costco have a nice box set for about £12 - "Classic Ales of England".
Two each of Ringwood's "Old Thumper", Wychwood's "Hobgoblin", Brakspear's "Oxford Gold", Marston's "Pedigree", Bank's "Bitter", Jennings "Cumberland Ale".
I've just drunk the bottle of Crabbies I was saving for a rainy day. I think it may be a summer drink for me; I'm cold!
It's 4% not 5 as I said further up.
thwaites double century which tastes rather nice after a 5 mile trot in the wind and the rain
Contemplating opening a bottle of badger beer.
500ml of Hawkshead Lakeland Gold.
Today's a rest day before Pendle, so I'll get 5 gallons of Coniston Bluebird on the boil. Need to build up some stock for Christmas, a task made more difficult since someone creeps into the house every night and takes half a gallon.
5am Saint is a cracker if you like your beers super hoppy and Sierra Nevada is a fav too. Agree about the Jaipur Brett... am lucky enough that my local always has a Thornbridge on... Wild Swan at the moment. Have you tried the Halcyon?
No, but I'll be looking for it!
A group of Abbey Runners will be in attendance at the Otley beer festival tonight at the rugby club. Get there early before Daleside drinks all the ale
Might be tempted for Saturday, post Pendle recovery session. Looks like a good show:

I'll be there tonight - with non-running friends.
Usually see a few P&B + Otley AC folk around too on at least one of the nights.
A word of warning BL, last time I went on a Saturday they were running low - ask Daleside as by the time she arrived she had a choice of about 4 ales only (or so it seemed).
Thanks for the heads up. What will probably happen is I'll get back from Pendle, lob a duck in the oven to roast and settle down with some Shropshire Lad (the beer not an acquaintance) for the evening.
Badger Fursty Ferret. Lovely.
went with Sierra Nevada this evening. very nice. rich and fruity.
saving the 5 am Saint unitl after my Harrogate Ringway run tommorow. (not quite the FTOP!:p)

Just breaking out the Batemans' Dark Lord following my exertions at the Roaches race today. Beer always tastes better after a run :D
I won a little race at the Christow village show in Devon in 1982 after a modest pub lunch (it was there I'd noticed the race flyer as I paid the bill). Still have the tankard presented by a bloke called Dan Archer (or maybe I fell for a West Country joke).
Back on the Shropshire Lad tonight, so to speak. Almost re-hydrated after Pendle.
Two bottles of mars tons pedigree. No Jennings left
Nectar
One (last night !)of the Cold fell beers from Brampton(cumbria) based Geltsdale Brewery
