all this arguing about the history of the two manchester sides. where were you both when aston villa actually formed the football league you both have the privilage of playing in.

I thought Danbert was bad harping back to successes of old, but having to go back to 1888? :D:D:D
We obviously have a large debt of gratitude to the likes of Accrington, Stoke, Burnley and Blackburn as well so thank you for allowing us into your (:rolleyes:) football league.

You do. As for the other teams they were in the first league but they never formed the league that was the then director of Aston villa who also put the money up to finance it.
