What a race!!
I'll freely admit now that I very much doubt I'll do it next year!, as it was way too long for me.
Now if it had been drier/no wind, it might be a different story.
I started to suffer from the top of Holme Moss, & considered packing there (only entered for the experience), but decided to carry on.
Once we got down to Crowden, the energy levels were dropping, & the blisters had gone critical!
I'll also admit that Laddow Rocks scared me!, as one false-footing when climbing & it would certainly have hurt a lot on the way down!
Still, I managed to get back, with plenty of walking, to the finish - which was the main thing, in (according to my watch) 4.00:38
Now I find, that I can't walk downstairs properly, as my Achilles Tendons have siezed up
I look forward to the official results with interest though.

I hope you didn't take that shot of me, as I tried to gather enough residual strength to open my sandwich at the Cricket Club
Well done everybody!!, for a mad days racing!
My dippy so called better half went and lost her phone FOR THE THIRD TIME THIS YEAR, she thinks during the race.
A long shot, but I don't suppose anyone has found it? It would be good to get a rest from the ear bashing I've got since I got home.
I'm just sore cos she beat me. Again.
