Thanks again Luke. I made sure that I had a clear run to the beck crossing and avoided any holdups. When I looked up to the right as I was running up the gill I was wondering what had possessed you to think you could find a better line up there! Having said that,I was told that it was particularly dry underfoot this year so your previous experiences probably played a part.
Its a great race that was won by Hugh Chatfield of Tring RC in 1:02:56. The first lady was Hannah Russell of Helm Hill, 18th o/a in 1:12:28. I was 92nd and 2nd M60 in 1:26:26
