Home made Jaffa Cakes anyone???

Wait til DT sees this.
He is going to turn into a Jaffa Cake that boy :closed:
I logged on to confess my fourth portion of chips since Saturday. I'm far to full now to bother with Jaffa Cakes :closed:
Sat Old Dungeon Ghyll, Langdale
Sun Station Fishery, Addingham
Tues Top Brink, Lambutts, after Stoodley Pike race (thanks millipede!)
Wed Harrogate, unknown garden centre with a rather good beef sandwich or three :o
Wed Grouse, Oldfield
In my defense I'd like to say I've not had any Jaffa Cakes for weeks; I've been busy munching through a carrier bag full of cakes my boss' daughters made in cookery at school :closed:
DT I know you were trying to resist the mound of Jaffa Cakes but filling yourself up with other treats so as to leave no room for Jaffa Cakes is not the way forward :w00t:
Today's diet. The hotel breakfast was either cereal (boring - I can have that at home), fruit (since when will that keep me going til lunch), croissants (90% lard) or clearly the only appropriate option: 2rashersofbaconbeansscrambledeggandtoast :o
Oh todays been bad. 2 oatibix for breakfast, chicken wrap, chocolate brownie and double espresso for lunch. 2 jumbo sausages chips and peas for tea! I never going to get down to my target weight at this rate!
Low fat yogurt and fruit before work. Tuna sandwich made for lunch.... Have to resist the vending machine during my long control room shift :closed:
OHW have you noticed how gravity is different down South? I was sure I would have put put weight on this last week what with five portions of chips plus last night's jerk chicken, goat curry and rice and peas but I seem to be lighter not heavier :closed:
I've also been on a bad week and the scales have given me a right kicking this morning.:o
I have been very good for a fortnight. Think I must've lost a couple of lbs? I will weigh myself tomorrow... although if what DT says is true about gravity, I might just move north for a quick fix?
I daren't go near a set of scales. I've set myself a challenge in October to try and get fit for - although it'll probably fall by the wayside! (or is that weighside???)
Our scales have been better to me than I thought, they were showing 9st 10Ib in my boxers yesterday morning http://ollr.10.forumer.com/images/sm...llr/woohoo.gif
Showed that to SWMBO last night & she's offered to make me some http://ollr.10.forumer.com/images/sm...llr/tosser.gif
I've asked if she'll use a cereal bowl as a 'mould' for them!!.......................
I've been too busy eating this week to look at the link for making home-made Jaffa Cakes but just found time between munching a tube of Pringles with a large Lambs Navy rum and Coke and starting on a ham sandwich to check it out. Looks impressive
Stagger, when is the next weigh-in please?
I am beginning to think DT is right about the gravity thing. I've eaten no more than 1200-1400 calories a day for a fortnight, increased my running mileage from around 10 miles a week to 27 miles in the last 7 days.... And I have put ON yes put ON a friggin lb
Maybe my scales are broken :w00t:
I've been eating some of that fruit. Cherrys, a plum and some grapes. It's just not the same as pastry or sausages. Dreadful stuff imho :closed:
A plum and a few cherries for breakfast and a couple of hot buttered crumpets :closed:
PS is it dinner time yet? These early shifts are messing with my food body clock
Did you get the cherries Stef F??
Well I like cherries even if DT doesn't :closed:
Today I rebelled against the healthy diet, I am having a very bad day and required cheering up.... However I practically had to force a pain au chocolat down my neck, what is that all about
Salad for tea here :closed:
Salad with what DT?? Salad and chips?? Pork pie?? Pint of ale?? :closed:
Mackerel starter for me, then pizza followed by a cornetto, all part of my carefully worked out injury recovery plan. http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t.../whistling.gif

I've put 4lb on in the 2 months since my BG. Considering how much training I was doing and how little I'm doing now I don't think that's too bad, but I can't afford to keep putting 2lb per month on :closed:
You need to put the buttered crumpets down :closed:
Will have to wait til later for weigh in, if I remember when I get home!
