This will be my fourth year doing this one and still not sorted out the best way between White Pike and Caw - to go over or to the right of the Pikes? Any top tips appreciated.

Would like to do the long or short, all depends on the weather for me as I have the Old Man of Coniston Tri on Sunday and so would like to bike over from the Black Bull Inn to do this on the Saturday.
The jury is out, weather, please be good!
Never done Duddon before so just going to do the short one - final race before I head for the Pyrenees so don't want to overdo anything now. Plan to camp at Turner Hall Farm Sat night and may walk the long route on Sunday to see if I fancy it next year.
Anyone else staying over on Saturday? Sounds like the Newfield Inn has a promising range of beverages.
Oven Gloves - am I right in think I'd walk a million miles for one of his goals?
Managed to pick up a strained achilles in the last week after some hard training.
After missing out on the three peaks there's no way I'm not starting Duddon, but I may be withdrawing after the first descent.
B*****ks.
We'll be at Turner Hall and the Newfields anyway rain or shine.
Doing this one and all the other classic races this year befor knees, legs or whatever packs in.
sorry to hear that ZHR - hope you are OK on the day
the only thing I did last weekend was a flat tarmac 5 Mile race
and I am now wrapped up in cotton wool
the only thing I'm worried about now is picking up the stomach bug that has recently struck down Lady Slugge
I'll be there for my first big run in the Lakes since 1987. Getting nervous already in anticipation.
Had a plan to run all six too, but looks like could be away in September for Three Shires, and a false start this Saturday maybe anyway ...
Ta mate, wish I'd done that too. Hill reps on Saturday and it came out ok so thought I was in the clear-ish. Circuit training Tue night, it hasn't respond quite so well ... grrr.
