Is that a 'rout' in football speak? I might get the hang of this fell running lark yet! :w00t: (although not with that final descent at Buckden! :o )

Thanks for that info CCR. New replay team - Logue & Mounsey plus Crossfield and Ben Crowther.
Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2013
I sense that Multiterrainer has the home tie advantage with James and Ben in his original team.
I'll opt for Karl (hoping he recovers for the weekend) and Laura from my main team, and Max Wharton and James Logue as guest runners.

I think he does, but home advantage doesn't always pay off!

Is that Todmorden Harriers' Ben Crowther (a regular at MSM), or Halifax Harriers' Ben Crowther - the younger, faster version but less likely to be racing ?

Having chosen my team based on the last 2 year's results it's the Tod Harrier, Bill.
Cheers

Pah! Easy. It's not like at Wharfedale where we have 2 Paul Crabtrees, i still don't 100% know who is who TBH.
Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2013
Surely it's about time running adopted the same approach as acting to solve this problem. Nobody is allowed to enter a race if they have the same name as anyone else who's ever entered a race. Want to race? Change your name. Easy.

Tod Harriers claims Nick Barber and Ben Crowther :p a slight bother about Jon Wright (Tod) and Jon Wright (Tod) but I think they spell Jon differently. Then Wharfedale and Mercia have the Paul Crabtrees and the Andy Davieses? :)
The parkrun fable goes that, back in the days of yore (which I don't remember), when all you needed was a name and a home parkrun, and maybe a d.o.b., before long there were two people with the same name, the same home parkrun, and the same date of birth! And they didn't even know each other.
Re: Fantasy Fellrunning 2013
Results updated after the Midsummer Madness race weekend.
Top scorer was Sally Newman (12) followed by Max Wharton (11) and Gayle Sugden (11).
The only teams to score points were Hanover Harriers and Jolivers Army, so I’ve only shown the table for the Kaliber league.
Next counter: Wasdale, 13th July.
And in the cup replay:
Supersaints Allstars (11) – beat - MTs 2013 All-Stars (9)
The cup 2nd round draw will follow shortly.
