just like to say, first time I've done this race, and really enjoyed it, especially the descent and was pushed all the way by a group who all finished within seconds of each other, and managed to get to the top before the winners got to the bottom which is more than i did at Burnsall! .
Thanks to all the organisers and marshals, will definitely be on my must do list for next year.
I was a good wee pixie and did what I was told. Master gray told me to run in front of him and I did. This may never happen again though he did try to storm me at the end. On reflection I wondered, belatedly, why Karl b slowed at the trig but of course he was waitin, I think, for the legend of holmes. If I had a brain...
Great atmosphere before during and after the race thanks to organizers etc
There's a video of everyone near the start, on my blog: http://noels-training.blogspot.com/
It's even in HD. New camera - you wouldn't believe how long it took to upload it to YouTube.
Enjoy :)
Emmilou I PM'd you, but your inbox is full.
Feel free to use the video whereever. :)
Plenty of photos up now at:

Update for this years race on 27th October 2012.
The campsite at Kettlewell which we use for registration is now closed, but the farmer has agreed to us using the field for registration as usual. Obviously therefore, there will be no camping there this year.
Also I've just found out this morning that the Kings Head in Kettlewell where we usually have the presentation has closed for the foreseeable future, so we intend to have the presentation on the registration field. (Bring an umbrella!) Other details, I hope, will remain as per usual. Oh, and most important, the toilets at Fold Farm next to the parking field will be available.

Its to protect you from the Wharfedale sunshine. Well it was this morning anyway!
