A couple of hours practising telemarking. What a joke! Finished up with a massive face plant and snow abrasion burns down one side of my face. Would've broken my specs if they hadn't been tungsten carbide memory specs too. Aching all over. :( Don't suppose I'll learn at this age. Maybe I should go on a course.
This weather is amazing, just had a look out now, completely crystal clear, blue skies, the sun beaming, and the moon is out, everything white!
Just heard this weather isn't going to change for at least 10 days, and more snow due tonight!
Took a long run over Ilkley Moor yesterday and followed a set of ski tracks from 12 apostles to Whetstone gate and then down the track towards Ilkley. Someone clearly getting in a bit of cross country skiing.
running off Ingleborough yesterday there were two guys on mountain bikes at Crina Bottom trying to remount. not sure who was the daftest. them or me. would out some pictures of Ingstelbugger on here but not sure how to get the pics on.Quote:
