Can't see why it couldn't return via the left of Buttock Farm as the runners are well spread out by then and queueing at the stile wouldn't be an issue.
At least we won't have to breathe the horrible smell of diesel oil (heating oil?) that hangs in the air around Buttock Farm; oil appears to have seeped into the tiny beck that runs alongside the property. Bad news when a waterway is polluted almost at its source.

Went for a walk with wife & child and took a few at the start of the 2nd climb and at the trig.

Enjoyed being back on the hills again today, hopefully the first of many more. Just a quick note of thanks to all those involved in organising and marshalling both the senior and junior races today, especially with all that rain and mud!
I look forward to doing it again next April.
