Thought it had stopped but it has started again. News from Liverpool way is that the snow has been replaced by rain so we will probably get that later. Hope so or I might not be able to make it to my favourite chippy later
Lots here too. But what's the point if rain is heading this way????
Drizzling all the way from keighley to Halifax.
All main roads clear.
It's not often I back out of the club headtorch run on a Wednesday night, but it'll be ankle deep in slush & mud tonight. Think I'll light a fire instead.
Down to sea level Tayside, even the seals look grumpy this morning.
Belting it down, blizzard conditions at sea level. I'll not be off to the hills today.
It has at least made for an atmospheric and enjoyable beach and forest run.
baltic winds coming right off the sea, icy nor easterly, the worst  bringing lots of snow showers, and plenty of draft into my gaff
Lots of snow in Nottingham, and looks like it might start to settle.
complete whiteout as Im typing, cant see 10 metres out the window, I can hear the thunderous sea beyond the whiteout, over the din the ferocious wind is making along with the occasional irate seagull!! Great  no chance I'll be running tonight llike!!
Arctic storms in Middleton and North Manchester at the moment.
If it was london there would be a newsflash :w00t:
A fair amount of snow and ice on the ascent of Ingleborough today, very dodgy conditions at the top of the rocky climb
Blanket coverage in Angus, today's commute should be educational.
Still chucking it down.
we are getting closer to april and there is more snow on its way what is going on can my bgr be classed as a winter round i dont think i have been over any leg without any snow this year

Like it! :)
Bllizzard raging here at ice station zebra. I'm off to work in Leeds..... and may be some time :)
I am working from home - stuff going out in that ;)
Still fairly light snow in North Manchester.
I usually work from home and today I have to talk at a seminar in Harrogate, great timing! Better go and dig the car out, glad I've still got my winter tyres on.
Rain + wind, and plenty of both.
Far too mild for snow.
Deep enough snow here in Hathersage!
I'm off out in it this w/e, might try Park Rash, photos on the way.
Day off work today and had hoped to cross the Pennines for a quiet recce of the Anni-Waltz. Now look what the weathers gone and done!!! Grrrrh:mad: Looks like it's not going to improve by tomorrow either - double grrrh!
I am supposed to drive to the Lakes tomorrow evening, from the Black Mountains, S wales... forecast for bothe area's looks a bit dicey to say the least... I am doubtful I will dare drive... Which would mean miss my race on Sunday :( Mind, it is at Whinlatter, so if the weather does as forecast, I doubt they will get the competitors up the pass in their cars :w00t: and may well have to cancel the event :(
Car down at the main road turns out to be a good idea after all (15 mins walk away, downhill). The coastal climate hasn't completely kept the snow off the hills this time..
about 40cm of snow in my garden in N E Wales, car more or less buried
Oh Crikey.....My cars gone...so's my garden....i'm sure there used to be a picnic table over there.....
Definitely the most snow this year... My poor little daffies and the poor baby bah lambs!
I was really enjoying the start of Spring a week or two ago.... I think ? Or was it just a dream?
Snake pass is closed and I couldn't resist an early morning wander onto Derbyshire Level...some interesting snow drifts, 3-5ft deep in places and a bracing strong wind which almost blew me over a couple of times, thats only at about 220m so dread to think what the conditions are on the tops. This is the wildest conditions I've seen in Glossop this winter
The snow finally arrived in North Manchester. The back garden has about 3 inches and in the front the snow has all drifted round the door covering the cat flap.
