Something like 7 miles last night, visiting all the housing estates in Skipton. Was a good blow out though and included quite a few little hills too.
See here for the Full Tour of Skipton ;)
4m hilly road and trail recovery run. Nothing else to say really.

Just over an hour/1800' on Pendle hill. The clag was down and the ground was semi-frozen. Ski Sunday lived up to it's name by being largely covered in snow and ice which made for a more slippery descent than usual. It took me 3 attempts to get the correct line to take me directly to CP2. There are that many trods criss crossing that it is easy to pick up the wrong one, especially in the mist.
Hill sprints last night. Brutal as these were far more continous than normal and included quicker transitions between the hills. A shorter more intense session.
What would be good is for people to also put a summary of their weeks running in one post. What I do (I know I'm a logging geek) is milage, height, notes and effort level (1 (recovery run) - 5(hard/race).
It would be good to look at how people mix up sessions, recovery days, recovery runs, rather than just focusing on the effort sessions.
SO last week:
S: Race. Lostock 6. 5.
M: Track. 14 x 300m efforts, 100m jog recovery. 4.
T: Hill sprints, 7.4 miles, 1500ft ascent. 4.
W: 6.5 miles, 1200ft ascent, Round the lake and Quarry. 3.
T: 7 miles, 2100ft ascent, CLogwyn station and back. 3.
F: rest day
S: 11 miles, 2500ft ascent. ras Yr Aran Recce. 2.
I need to change my week, S, M, T are too much, but I like the club hill sprints and do a track session with another club which I enjoy. but lastnight did the same and was dead, so will rest today.
A Hilly 8.3 Miles around the Tame Valley Park
4m to work on singlespeed, pedalling all the way up Ripponden Bank.
8m home, hammering the last 4m. 3m off road easy run straight after.
5 miles off road,hammered it
Two races at the weekend.
Yesterday did 14 miles round the first part of the Edale Skyline with jodg.
Quite icy with some snow on the north side from Ringing Roger and some snow on Mam Tor.
Today 11 miles around the Goyt Valley with Big Ken. Low cloud and some snow on Shining Tor.
Felt quite good once I got going today but will rest tomorrow.
Need to save something for Pendle on Saturday!
