6 miles over Turton Moor with my brother-in-law.He has been doing some triathlon training and was telling me how much better his running was and how he now only weighs 14st 10lbs.......where as im 15st 10lbs.
Dropped him on the first hill.
Well chuffed.
About 7 miles usual mix but did a couple of short steeper ascents in Post Hill woods - could've done with my mudrocs in parts as waited until after torrential rain!!
Cheers Merry, Harry is much better tonight. He has more energy than me at the minute the stuff the doctor gave us today seems to have worked a treat.
I also managed to get a short 5 mile run in around Cronton today and felt much better than I did yesterday. Made sure I had plenty to eat today and it paid off.:)
13 miles over Blea Moor from Dent. Didn't realise they had a road race there today - I think they had to change the route because some of the roads were flooded.:D
8.70 mile on the roads early this morning in lovely sunshine. Had intended to run Roddlesworth Trail race today but family commitments have taken priority today.
9.2 miles, 7 at tempo pace, nice run today !
My Triathlon training has completely knackered my running......yeah can swim 3km no problems, cycle over 100 no problems but running up pendle today felt like I'd never run in my life  Mind you doesn't help going out running with a speed demon!!
Cheers Ady, had a good morning......legs and bum have now regained feeling after a soak in a warm bath!!! Sorry wasn't up to the hard core version ;)
anyway............the girl is back....after nearly 3 months off the hills time to get cracking again......well just got a little Ironman to get out of the way first!!
Well my training today has so far consisted of digging out several tons of earth to make way for our new patio. My back hurt to begin with, after wrenching it running yesterday, and now aches like billy-o. Just about to try a 5 or 6 miler in't hills to just cap off an exhausting weekend.
