Horsforth Beer festival tonight so a range of halves from a range of Yorkshire breweries - best I had was the Landlords Friend Brewery's Mr Hough (from Halifax), least exciting was the Crown Brewery (Sheffield) Hillsborough Pale - that'll teach me to go for something described as having flowery head and petal undertones!!

First on the menu is Goose Island 312 (urban wheat beer!)it's not great.n fact slightly disappointed after their excellent Honkers Ale. lacking in taste and body. ho-hum a few more to sample this evening.

Snake Dog from Flying Dog Brewery. not as fully flavoured as 5am, but still very hoppy and weighs in at 7.1% Very good indeed. worth seeking out if you like 5am.
