Yes. Yes he is. And you are both nice blokes, to boot. Many thanks for letting me run with you. You may recall that I did detect a hint of an accent, though. :-)

Hi Tom, feel free to use them with a name check and/or link back to the originals on flickr.
I'm hoping I'll finally get around to uploading my report tonight.
Using thousands of Nick's photos (thanks very much!), I've written a LONG race report and posted it to facebook. If anyone wants to read it, either "friend" me (Tom Farsides) or email me and I'll send you a pdf version ([email protected]). Thanks to everyone I came into contact with - and many more that I didn't - for a great day out.
Just wondering whether anyone can put me straight on a couple of Runfurther things. Firstly, how often do the newsletters come out? I'm registered but I don't seem to have had any at all this year. Secondly I've noticed that on the leader board those who have 4 races in are flagged for a cap. Has anyone had theirs yet? Apols for asking here but I didn't want to pester Karen unnecessarily.
there seems to have been a move to facebook and twitter- I didn't get the last newsletter until I logges on the site and picked it up there. Not sure if that is intentional or not. Think the organisers sometimes feel pressure of work etc and sometimes this means a bit of a gap. Can't remember about caps from last year- we tried to arrange for me to get mine at RAB MM last year so we may be a week or so early yet. Not heard anything this year yet. Coul have asked Si at HP40 but didn't think.
Thanks Karen :)
Anyone fancy a Peak Forest to Hazel Grove Recce? Particularly Earl Sterndale to Walker Barn.
I took day off work yesterday and spent 8 hours messing about on the later stages of the route (after Brand Top)
gorgeous day for it
even saw 3 deer hurdling a high stone wall crossing Wildboarclough
off on me hols for a week tomorrow - tapering for the big day...
Wish I could have joined you Daz, but too much on at home. Won't be doing the event either this year as I am doing the Langley 11, a walk around Macc Forest,( the 11 being 11 pub stops) in aid of Eat Cheshire Hospice.
To be honest, if I hadn't got my weekends mixed up, I'd have been doing the BS.... It's a great event. Enjoy it.
There's actually quite a population of deer in the Forest; they're just good at keeping themselves out of sight. If you in the Forest in the Autumn, you can often here the stags bellowing....a bit spooky.
