Re: Three Peaks Fell Race
Well done Richard P, Jez and Fozzy. Excellent running. Had a tough one myself. 34 down on last year. Can only blame the lack of really hard hill work as I'm reasonably fit. While we're starting the moaning. Some of the walkers were a bit of pain this year. Spreading out descent from Whernside. Oh - wish they'd sort the grub out too! ; ):p
Re: Three Peaks Fell Race
My first time, and I really enjoyed it. I found the hardest part of the course was that final descent on tired legs. Rarely have I been so pleased to see a finish line.
Many, many thanks to the organisers, marshals and everyone else involved in putting on a brilliantly event.
Re: Three Peaks Fell Race

The wind going up Whernside last year was extremely strong, so I did just that and nearly took off on cresting the skyline. I'm not sure how the marshalls managed to stay on terra firma.

I think mine was acting as a windbreak rather than a sail for most of the run!
Re: Three Peaks Fell Race
By the way - No 251 Ian Wade from Handsworth Roadhogs RC - you left your labelled drinks bottle halfway up Whernside and then another one halfway up Ingleborough.
Shame on you.
