Shame on you.
Absolutely.

Can I second that? - a great series of photos.

Shame indeed. Or perhaps he was intending returning to the fell today to collect the bottles? Some'ow I doubt it. Maybe it's time to make an official example of proven fell litterers:angry:

Roadhogs you see, probably thought the motorised street cleaner would be driving around yesterday evening.

Obviously all with all those who dropped gel wrappers on the way up whernside. I picked up 4 or 5 that I spotted, and I was still moving relatively quickly at that point, passing people around me on the way up, so just think of those vital 3s I could have saved by not doing it. Would have made a huge difference to my finish time, just like those who dropped them instead of sticking them in a pocket.

Yes I noticed that too - very disappointing. I have to admit I didn't stop to pick any up though - too busy fighting against terrible calf cramp!

Cheers, I reckon we ran about half the race in the process. I took hundreds more but posted just front runners and people I know. Ian Slater's pics will be better I think, I will put ulfm on same link. Will get them in next few days.
Re: Three Peaks Fell Race
Dropping bottles/litter is bad enough. But dropping bottles with your name on smacks of arrogance & a complete 2 fingers up to what fell running is all about.
