What a race and what an experience.
This must be the Daddy of all fell races.
The whole event from Friday to getting home was just great.
Well done to our hosts in Scotland and everyone who took part and all the folks cheering us on.

Well done Mrs M. LV60 finishing in 2:37:58. Thanks to her club mates and friends for the purchase of the bottle of wine and to the organisers for giving it at the presentation. Does anyone know of any other LV60 completing the Ben Race?
Just got back, what great weekend, even the drizzle, rain & clag did not stop me from enjoying this Great race. Was on for a PB untill taking a tumble just before the fence/style close to the Ben Nevis Inn. Ended up with a PW 2:19. Aching today. Will be back next year. 365 days t go. Soon be here !!!!
Can we keep the thread going to 2008 !!!
Well done to all who took part and to the organisors.
Nice one Sheila!!!!! (Mrs McNulty) What a season for you! WOWWWWWW!!!!
Peter did you run? How did others get on :)
I finished in 2:24, once again looking like a casualty in a war movie!!. Donna did 2:36, after a shoe decided to self destruct on the descent. Mark did 2:39 after suffering cramp while John did 2:47 after a remarkably uneventfull race.
Mick did 2:08 complete with a shoulder dislocation. The first aid tent was very busy!. However we all survived to tell the tale. Still a great race but not sure about next year!!!!!!
Looks like Marrow's form turned around big time in the last couple of weeks .
Storming run mate , well done ;)
Mark
Good stuff - it's never well advertised so I'll be keeping an eye on on here to make sure I don't miss it...
BTW - The DOMS is really kicking in now - I guess that's the problem with sustained 4000 odd feet of descent - nowhere to practise unless you live in Lochaber! Repeated descents never seem to hurt as much! Couple of nurofen and some beer'll sort it out! :)
